Proven & Driven

I have a strong desire to continue serving for the residents and businesses of the Point Douglas Ward - an experience that began with years of service working with outgoing City Councillor Mike Pagtakhan. I have worked diligently to earn the respect from the community leaders and elders in our community. Some of the notable projects I worked on were Roger Le Grand Fitness Trail, Gord Dong Park Community Garden and Outdoor Oven, Garden Grove Park 2-5 Years Old Playground Structure, developed Seniors Program at Tyndall Park Community Centre, renamed North Centennial Recreation & Leisure Facility to Sergeant Tommy Prince Place, organized Boxing Charity Event to raise funds for North End Boxing Club. “I have developed many relationships with the City’s Public Service and have learned to navigate the administration system, which will be beneficial when I become your next City Councillor.  I plan to finish the community work that has already started, and will continue to keep advocating to have safer neighbourhoods for families, redevelop our community centres and green spaces, establish more after school programs for youth, as well as work towards investing more into our infrastructure such as better transit services, locate funding to build a Better Arlington Bridge and invest more into our local streets and back lanes.

The residents of Point Douglas need a strong, experienced voice that will represent their interests at City Hall and I am ready and qualified to be your representative.”
