In my recent years working at City Hall, I have collaborated on many notable community projects that I am very proud to have been a part of.

Below is a list that I was able to accomplish and successfully complete in the 8 years in public office.

Worked with Public Service to conduct traffic study and install traffic turning signal lights at Burrows Avenue and Keewatin Street
Assisted in renaming King Edward-Burrows Park to George Heshka Park
Organized Charity Boxing Event to raise funds for North End Boxing Club
Volunteered & planted 40 new species in Mokriy Ecological Reserve
Assisted in renaming Shaughnessy Ecological Reserve to Mokriy Ecological Reserve

Worked with the community area stakeholders and secured funding to redevelop Lismore and Blue Bird Park

Secured funding to dedicate a bench at Gord Dong Park "In memory of Joey Ritchie, Vice-President Centennial Community Improvement Association"
Assisted to secure funding for Outdoor Learning Space at Ecole Sacre Ceour
Organized Community Engagement with Centennial residents to redevelop Gord Dong Park
Assisted in renaming Lizzie Park to Giizhigooweyaabikwe Park
Worked with Public Service to conduct pedestrian traffic study and install lowered enhanced Lighted Pedestrian Crosswalk at Alexander Ave and Isabel Street
Worked with Public Service to conduct pedestrian traffic study and installed traffic lights at Ross Avenue and Isabel Street

Secured funding to create interpretive displays at Sergeant Tommy Prince Place to tell the story of the building’s famous namesake
Secured funding to replace the pool liner at Freight House Outdoor Pool
Assisted in renaming Pioneer Arena to Charlie Gardiner Arena
Worked with Neighbours Group of North Centennial Recreational & Leisure Facility to rename to Sergeant Tommy Prince Place
Assisted to secure funding for Butterfly Garden at Dufferin School
Assisted to secure funding for Diversity Garden for King Edward Community School
Assisted to secure funding for new community gardens and benches for Food Matters North End Garden at the North Centennial Recreational & Leisure Facility

Worked with Public Service and Exchange District BIZ to develop and finalize the Exchange District Area Plan
Worked with Public Service to conduct pilot project and install Back-in Angled Parking in the Exchange District

Secured funding for digital sign board at Ecole Garden Grove School
Worked with Garden Grove Child Care and Public Service to install 2-5 years old play structure in Garden Grove Park
Assisted to secure funding for upgrades to Garden Grove Child Care Program

Secured funding for Portable Washroom pilot project at Roger Le Grand Park
Renamed shelter at Roger Le Grand Park to Bhai Kanhaiya Shelter
Organized Community Engagement with Meadows West residents to establish Fitness Trail in Roger Le Grand Park
Worked with Public Service to conduct pedestrian traffic study and install Lighted Pedestrian Crosswalk at Keewatin Street and Sante Fe Drive
Increased speed limit of Keewatin Street/Dr. Jose Rizal between Inkster Boulevard to Jefferson Avenue from 50KM/H to 60KM/H
Assisted to secure funding for play structure at Meadows West School

Assisted in renaming Northwood Park to Rick Hudson Park
Worked with Public Works to conduct traffic study and install No Parking Anytime signage on Shaughnessy Street between Burrows and Aberdeen Avenues

Worked with local artist, Mr. Louis Bako, and Public Service to install 4 tons quarry rock Canoe in Louis Bako River Landing
Assisted in renaming Annabella Walkway to Louis Bako River Landing
In conjunction with Casa Dos Acores, fund-raised $7,500 for the less fortunate who live in Acores, Portugal
Assisted to secure funding for upgrades to Casa Dos Acores Foyer & Sound System
Secured funding for Air Conditioning & Furnace Replacement project at The Edge Gallery, an Urban Art Centre
Secured funding for Granite Plaque with inscription poem written by local indigenous poet Ms. Katherena Vermette called "River Woman" at Louis Bako River Landing

Worked with the community area stakeholders and secured funding to redevelop Finestone Park
Assisted to secure funding for Cricket Pitch at Tyndall Park
Assisted to secure funding for upgrades to Batting Cage at Tyndall Park Community Centre
Organized Community Engagement with Tyndall Park residents to establish Mural on Tyndall Park Community Centre
Worked with Tyndall Park senior residents to start Seniors Program at Tyndall Park Community Centre
Assisted to secure funding for Early Years & Accessible Play Structure for Tyndall Park Community School
Organized Public Engagement with Garden Grove residents to discuss redevelopment of Finestone Park

Organized Community Engagement with West Alexander residents to upgrade and install outdoor basketball court at Sister MacNamara Park
Assisted in renaming North Logan Park to Alderman John O'Hare Park

Honoured the Cantors Family who owns Cantor's Meats with honorific street name on Logan Avenue and Quelch Street called Cantors Way
