COMMUNITY SAFETY & HEALTH

BIZ Patrols & Ambassadors are a safe option, should you need assistance to walk to and from your work, car, event, etc. Also, if you notice something out of the ordinary in the Downtown or Exchange area, call 911 and then please contact one of the BIZ's.

PATROL HOURS: Patrols are generally on duty the following dates and times:

*Monday: 8am-4pm
**Tuesday to Saturday: 8am-12am

*Monday Winter hours: 12pm-8pm
**No patrol on Sunday or holidays

Downtown BIZ Patrol & Ambassadors, 958-SAFE (7233)

PATROL HOURS: Patrols are generally on duty the following dates and times:

8:00am to Midnight, Monday – Sunday (subject to change)

There many other community safety initiatives available should you want to join or start one yourself in your neighbourhood.

5:30pm: Meet up at 584 Selkirk ave
6:00pm – 9:00pm: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday
9:00pm – midnight: Late patrol – Friday & Saturday (only)

Streets Connections is an organization that will pick-up used needles on private property.  On public property, you must call 311 or email them at [email protected]
